Choose the Right remix?

For Annelise’s upcoming murder mystery show I’ve created this remix (still a work-in-progress) of a popular LDS hymn. Tell me the truth, people: does this track contain a higher level of awesomeness, or blasphemy?

Did you purposely rip off the song “Dream a Dream (Elysium)” form Charlotte Church’s 2000 Christmas album. Your arangement sounds EXACTLY the same! If you don’t believe me…
The album cut sounds even more like your arangement.

Crazy! That may have been subconscious; I actually started with the beginning of “As Long As You’re Mine” from Wicked and tried to emulate that feel. I’ve got that album on my computer, although I can’t recall the song exactly off the top of my head, so it wasn’t an intentional thing. I guess there are no more original ideas left.

I think it’s cool…. though I can see some people being offended by it (and the whole premise of Annelise’s Called to Murder). But that’s that.
