Jeff's online journal, ramblings, whatever.

I’m quoted in the Ensign!!!!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but this one has to be quick, since I really gotta get to bed. I just wanted to say that I was quoted in the June 2006 Ensign, which, if you don’t know, is an LDS Church Magazine, distributed outside the U.S. under the name of Liahona. There was an article about dating in the June issue written by a woman from my singles’ ward, and random people from the ward were quoted, including me! At least I’m 98% sure it’s me, since I did fill out the written survey that she gave people, and there are no other “Jeffs” in my singles’ ward as far as I know, and the quotes sound like things I would say. Anyway, for those of you without an Ensign handy, here’s some links to the online PDF version(see page 17) or HTML version, whichever tickles your fancy.

In other news, Josh Reese finally got over his grudge of Dan Omer! Last Saturday we celebrated his birthday by going to IHOP, which we do for some reason every one of his birthdays. Afterward, he and Billy went to their 5-year high school reunion, and Dan Omer was there! They kissed and made up, figuratively, and now all is well between the two. They probably would have made up no matter the day, but just the fact that they finally saw each other on the day of his birthday celebration Makes it that much more ironic, since Dan missing his birthday celebration two years ago is what started the grudge in the first place!

Anyway, I’m off to the bed. In less than 24 hours, that counter below will flip from 12 to 11 years! Gouda night!
